The industrial eco-culture of the TECHNONICOL Far East plant was recognized as the best in the international competition
International project "Ecological Culture. Peace and Harmony" was established in 2012 by the non-governmental eco-fund named after Vladimir Vernadsky. The project involves enterprises and organizations introducing innovative technologies in the field of environmental protection.
The TECHNONICOL Far East plant, located in Khabarovsk, presented its experience of reducing the negative impact on the environment. The stone wool plant developed and implemented different technological, structural and organizational solutions.
TECHNONICOL installed dust and gas treatment facilities, gas afterburning systems from European suppliers. Another technological and organizational eco-solution of the plant is an automatic system of returning mineral wool cuttings to production. They are used repeatedly. The solution allows to reduce waste volumes by 93% and to obtain economic efficiency at the same level.
“Environmental safety is our priority. We organized the production, which has a minimal impact on the environment. The plant introduces modern "green" technologies. For two years, in addition to investment in equipment, we have directed 14 million roubles to the protection of the environment. In 2018, additional costs for environmental protection will amount to 3 million”, said Petr Oreshko, the general director of the TECHNONICOL Far East plant.
Previously, the ecological work of the TECHNONICOL Far East plant was awarded within the framework of EcoLeader contest held by the Government of the Khabarovsk Region.
