Description of material
Uniflex VENT is a waterproofing sheet produced by placing a polymer-bitumen binder on a strong rot-proof polyester base or fiberglass. The ventilated surface has binder strips of a certain size, the space between which is filled with coarse-grained sand. When it is welded on, this design provides for the ability of a roof to "breathe" thus guaranteeing the absence of air bubbles, which results in a longer service life.
Uniflex VENT EKV is used to repair the roof without removal of old roof cladding. The coarse-grained dressing compound is applied to the face; the ventilated covering, to the welded-on side of the sheet.
Uniflex VENT EPV (TPV) is used as the bottom layers of two-layer roof cladding. A polymer film is applied to the top; the ventilated covering, to the welded-on side of the sheet.
Uniflex VENT can be used in all climatic zones (as determined in Construction Codes and Regulation (SNiP) 23-01-99*).
Method of application
The material is welded on a prepared surface using a gas burner. Material application: according to the Manual for Designing and Installation of "Breathing" Roofs Made of Technoelast VENT and Uniflex VENT Welded-On Roll-Fed Materials.
Storage
Store vertically, in a place protected from direct sunlight.
