Bitumen Road Emulsion TECHNONICOL (EBK)
Bitumen Road Emulsion TECHNONICOL (EBK) is homogeneous low-viscous liquid produced by means of dispersion of bitumen in water solution of emulsifying agent. Such emulsion produced by us belongs to oil-in-water bitumen emulsions. This very type of bitumen is widely used during production of road work of various kinds. Because of its relatively low viscosity the bitumen emulsion provides the most acceptable conditions for treating road construction materials.
Bitumen Road Emulsion TECHNONICOL (EBK) is produced using special equipment and emulsifying agents. It can be of two basic types: oil-in-water and inverted. This classification is based on the form of the composition. Bitumen Road Emulsion TECHNONICOL (EBK) provides an alternative method of storage, transportation and use of bitumen.
It is the safest and most ecological in comparison with traditional ways of use of bitumen, it doesn’t demand high energy consumption and can be used together with cold humid stone materials.
Three brands of emulsion are produced depending on the stability during mixing with mineral materials: EBK-1, EBK-2, EBK-3.
Bitumen Road Emulsions TECHNONICOL (EBK) are transported in tanks, binder distributors, bitumen distributors and metal barrels. It should be stored in tanks and other cylindrical metal containers. Storage containers must be clean, without remains of emulsion, bitumen, fuel and lubrication materials and other acidic or alkaline materials.
It isn’t allowed to pour together emulsions with different compositions into one container. In order to protect bitumen emulsion from getting dirty and losing water, containers should be well closed.
Temperature of emulsion during storage shouldn’t be lower than 5 °Ñ.
