TECHNONICOL HOUSE wins NOPRIZ contest as the best innovative project
25.11.2016

TECHNONICOL HOUSE has become the winner of the NOPRIZ contest as the best innovative project of 2016 in the category Best project with energy efficient solutions. The professional jury has estimated the potential of the innovative technology for mass-market customers. Its reproduction can at least double the effectiveness of heat energy use in cottages.

On November 18, the results of the II NOPRIZ Professional contest for the best innovative projects have been announced at a ceremony held in the Rossiya Segodnya News Agency. According to the jury decision, the «Best object with energy efficient solutions» is the cottage house construction technology by TechnoNICOL. The first TECHNONICOL HOUSE was built in 2014 in the region of Kaluga. The real cottage has verified the preliminary calculations of designers: the house has reasonable price and consumes twice as little heat energy as is required by the acting SNiP standard. Presently, tens of TECHNONICOL HOUSE cottages are being built in various regions of Russia.

«This project is worth mentioning as it has accomplished the task to make energy efficient solutions widely available. The project has architectural value, provides comfort and energy efficiency benefits for the homeowner," said Mikhail Posokhin, Head of the Contest Committee, Public architecture of Russia, laureate of the State prize of Russia, academician, acting member of the Russian academy of arts, Academy of architectural heritage and International academy of architecture, Head of Mosproject-2 named after M.v. Posokhin.

The professional contest for the best innovative project is conducted by the National Association of Construction Surveyors and Designers (NOPRIZ) under the auspices of the Russian State Duma, the Ministry of construction, housing and utilities, the Russian academy of sciences, the National association of builders, scientific and professional unions in design, survey and construction sectors.

This year the jury received 188 bids for the contest from Russia and abroad. The presentation materials of the best projects are to be posted on the NOPRIZ web site and introduced in federal districts. Moreover, the winning projects will be recommended for the registrar of typical projects issued by the Ministry of construction of Russia.

«The acknowledgement of TECHNONICOL HOUSE by the expert jury of the contest has high value to us. When developing this complex solution we kept several challenges in sight. In particular, we achieved significant resource-saving benefits and kept reasonable price. Last year, the pilot TECHNONICOL HOUSE was recognized as the „Best low-rise energy efficient house of the country“ according to the ENES contest held by the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation. Another important feature of the project is the exemption of architectural and space planning solutions. The TECHNONICOL HOUSE allows to realize specific customers' requests and to make individual layout widely available. The award of the NOPRIZ contest is the best evidence that the initial task has been realized», opined Eugene Voylov, the vice-president of the TechnoNICOL Corporation.
