The extruded polystyrene foam TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID is a thermal insulation material with uniformly distributed closed cells for thermally insulating load-bearing floors, railways, and roads. XPS TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID does not absorb water, does not expand or contract, is resistant to chemicals and is not susceptible to decay. Its high strength allows for an even, rigid base which significantly increases the working lifespan of the entire thermal insulation system. XPS TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID is specially tailored for increased strength.

The extruded polystyrene foam TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID is one of the most high tensile thermal insulation materials. Its strength of up to 1000 kPa and its low thermal conductivity make this material highly popular in the construction of roads, airfields and tunnels, launch sites, parking areas, and other constructions with increased requirements due to constant or temporary loads.

The production process of XPS TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID makes use of nanoscale carbon particles. Nanocarbon reduces the thermal conductivity of the material and increases its strength. Thanks to being saturated with nanocarbon, panels of XPS TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID acquire a dark silver tone and possess a high energy-efficiency index and high strength.

Scope of application:

Extruded polystyrene foam of the TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID series is used in general civil construction in thermally insulating foundations, accessible roof areas, load-bearing floors, railways, roads, and landing strips.

Storage:

Panels of XPS TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID can be stored under cover protecting them from atmospheric precipitation and sunlight. During storage under cover, the panels must be laid on pallets, stands, or slats.

Panels of XPS TECHNONICOL CARBON SOLID can be stored in the open air in special packaging protecting them from external atmospheric effects.

Precautionary measures:

Keep away from fire. Chemically unstable on contact with petrol, organic solvents, and bituminous cement with a high organic solvent content.
