XPS TECHNONICOL CARBON SAND is a form of thermal insulation panel made from extruded polystyrene foam, specially designed for use as an inner core in thermal insulation panels of various types (along the lines of a sandwich construction) or in composite materials.
The product is easily cut, is processed on lathes and has optimal dimensions. For this line of products, the manufacturer has made special allowances in geometric dimensions.
Thanks to the additives used and the special structure of the material, when breaking it on the lathes there is no “through screening” effect, adhesive costs in gluing the sandwich are minimal.
Scope of application:
The extruded polystyrene foam TECHNONICOL CARBON SAND is released specially for manufacturers of various sandwich-panels. Basic application of the material: PVC-Panels for window structures. The product can also be used in the manufacturer of vans, concrete panelling, doors, medical equipment, composite facades and facing materials, and advertising structures

Packaging information:
The panels are packaged in stretch plastic and delivered on wooden pallets 240×240 cm. in size.
Installation:
In accordance with the regulatory documentation of the sandwich-panel manufacturers.
Storage:
XPS TECHNONICOL CARBON SAND panels can be stored under cover protecting them from atmospheric precipitation and sunlight. During storage under cover, the panels must be laid on pallets, stands, or slats.
XPS TECHNONICOL CARBON SAND can be stored in the open air in special packaging protecting them from external atmospheric effects.
Precautionary measures:
Keep away from fire. Chemically unstable on contact with petrol, organic solvents, and bituminous cement with a high organic solvent content.
