TechnoNICOL receives award for polystyrene processing

TechnoNICOL produces extruded polystyrene at its plants in Ryazan, Saint Petersburg, Novoulyanovsk, Uchaly, Urga, Khabarovsk, Mineralnye Vody and Dneprodzerzhinsk (Ukraine). The first line for the production of XPS was launched in 2006 at the Technoplex plant in Ryazan. By its 10th anniversary, the plant became one of the largest production sites for XPS in Europe. The three German production lines of the factory ensure the total output of 800 thousand m3 per year. The enterprise is charged to 90% of its capacity, and the export supplies have risen five times over the last 5 years.
The prize in «Polystyrene processing» highlights the company’s achievements in the Russian and international markets. The jury experts underlined, that «TechnoNICOL has strengthened positions within the country and started external expansion due to efficient business management. The total rise of company’s export supplies has risen four times over the past 2 years».
Receiving the award, Director of the Polymer insulation business unit of the TechnoNICOL Corporation Vasily Tkachev stated: «We are grateful to the organizers of the award for high evaluation of our work. The «Polymers of Russia 2016» was held in the framework of the IX Forum «Polymers of Russia», which traditionally unites top managers and proprietors of Russian polymer enterprises. Over 150 companies regularly attend the event. This year the forum was held under the motto «Develop processing». Experts stated that the polymer industry has developed product assortment and decreased import supplies. Nevertheless, very few companies had successes in recycling. The experts discussed ways to resolve the problem and opportunities for further growth of the national production.
