TECHNONICOL is rapidly expanding its presence on the market of PU foams. While the first plant in Ryazan was constructed in 2016, two more enterprises in Russian Federation and the CIS are to be launched between 2018 and 2019. In 2019, the approximate aggregate capacity of enterprises for the production of TECHNONICOL PU foams is estimated to reach about 60 million cylinders per year.
Another enterprise of PU foams is already under construction in the territory of the Special Economic Zone «Alabuga». «Representatives of the SEZ offered us an excellent package of benefits: we had a zero rate for property, land and transportation taxes for a 10-year term, and a reduced rate on income tax. In addition, a well-developed infrastructure is a significant advantage of «Alabuga», which is always a very important criterion for investors. Such conditions will allow us to accelerate the implementation of the project and have a minimum timeframes for cost recovery», said Sergey Kolesnikov, co-owner of TECHNONICOL, investor of the project.
Developing the PU foams production in Russia will contribute to the import substitution for Russian market. The plants' production in Tatarstan will be provided not only for domestic market, but also for export to the CIS and Baltic countries, as well as to Eastern Europe.
TECHNONICOL expects to enter the TOP 3 largest producers of PU foams in the Eurasian Economic Union in the nearest future. It is planned that until 2025, TECHNONICOL will obtain a significant position in the market of PU foams and become one of the world’s leading producers. «TECHNONICOL has a steady business and has all the necessary resources to achieve such an ambitious goal on a well-established market. In addition to our factories operating in Ryazan and Alabuga, we are planning to build at least one more enterprise in the territory of EurAsEC. We also take into considerations some proposals of purchase of European assets, which will permit us to expand significantly our geographical presence», said Sergey Kolesnikov.
